A fifth generation Californian, Patricia Hamilton is descended from the Rev. Sylvanus G. Gale, a Methodist minister in the Retreat of Pacific Grove from 1890-1893. Since 1998 she has authored three Monterey County Guides to much acclaim and is currently researching and writing "America Healthy" series of books which show the way to traveling with a light eco-print.  The first edition in the series, "California Healthy, Southern California Edition" is now available.  The Northern California edition will be released on Earth Day, 2009.
